Acajou seeks to
introduce a new concept of living in the midst of nature. A hotel
conceived with beautiful mahogany (acajou) wood specially
cultivated for environment-friendly construction in the man-made
forests of South-Africa. It comprises 28 tastefully decorated rooms spread
out admist casuarina and takamaka trees by the water’s edge,
each room with a balcony facing the sea. 
Within a short walking
distance guests will find a number of small restaurants as well
as a sophisticated casino. Five minutes away by car is the jetty
where you catch the ferry to neighbouring la Digue. Guest
facilities include a bar, restaurant, cocktail lounge, swimming
pool, beach bar - all offering charming and friendly Seychellois
service .
The hotel’s guest rooms are among the most spacious in Praslin and each is equipped with bath/ shower with hot and cold water, air conditioning, IDD telephones, television, mini-bar (on request), radio and piped music.

Acajou is situated on the romantic island of Praslin, an island of rare palms where elusive Black Parrots live among the fronds of the wondrous Coco-de-mer in a valley once described by General Gordon of Khartoum as the site of the original Garden of Eden. Praslin is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Acajou is on the cote d’Or beach which stretches along the island’s northern coast and ranks among the favorites with visitors to the Seychelles.
