Young people who enjoy sport and who have the opportunity to improve
are disposed to develop a habit of playing sport and are more likely
to stay involved in sport throughout their lives. If more young people
are encouraged to establish the habit of sport as part of their
lifestyle, then ultimately sports participation within the whole
population will increase.
To do this will mean offering potential participants opportunities for
involvement, and training leaders who can ensure progression and
enjoyment.
