Paradise Sun
Accidents are
bound to happen in every work place and therefore staff should be
prepared to deal with any situation that may arise.
Paradise Sun
Hotel at Anse Volbert, Praslin, recently organised a three-day First
Aid training session for its staff in collaboration with the Red Cross
Society of Seychelles.
During the
course, which was conducted by Roy Nibourette a qualified Red Cross
instructor, the 13 members of staff from different departments of the
hotels, were enlightened on how to cope better with cases of accidents
or other life-threatening situations.
On the last day
of the workshop, the participants were exposed to real life situations
where they were assessed.
They all passed
the test and Krishna Tamatave, chairman of Red Cross on Praslin,
presented them with their certificates.
According to Mrs
Janet Gonthier the hotel’s personnel manager, the course was very
interesting and would be of great importance to all participants.
The course is in
line with the establishment's policy of constant upgrading of services
for both staff and clients.
