President France Albert Rene has informed the National Assembly of his intention to appoint Mr Vincent Meriton and Mr Joel Morgan as government ministers. The National Assembly is expected to approve the appointments at its sitting of December 16, 2003 through a motion to be presented by Leader of Government Business Honourable Patrick Herminie. Mr Vincent Meriton is currently the principal secretary for Local Government in the Ministry of Local Government, Sports and Culture. Mr Joel Morgan is the principal secretary in the Ministry of Land Use and Habitat. |
