Members of the legal profession on Saturday
November 8, hold a seminar on the protection of human rights in
Seychelles.
Speaking on behalf of the Bar Association of
Seychelles (BAS) on Friday November 7, Lawyer Wilby Lucas said that BAS
had organised the seminar to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the
third constitution.
The seminar, which start at the National Institute
of Education at 9.00 a.m., will be addressed by, among others, Chief
Justice Vivekanand Alleear and the chairman of BAS, Mr Philippe Boulle.
Participants invited for the seminar stem from the
judiciary, non-governmental organisations, the Attorney General's
Chambers, various ministries and the private sector. |
