Seychelles
Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) has announced its programmes for the
closure of the campaign for the National Assembly election due next
week.
On Friday November
29, evening, SBC broadcast the extended reportage for the Seychelles
National Party (SNP) on both Radio and TV at 7.30 p.m.
The extended
reportage for the Democratic Party (DP) will be broadcast at 7.30 p.m.
on Saturday November 30 and that for the Seychelles People's Progressive
Front (SPPF) will be broadcast on Saturday November 30 at 8.30 p.m.
The extended
reportage's are 30-minute features produced by the SBC Newsroom with
input from the relevant political parties.
The SNP 30-minute
feature covered the launch of their manifesto earlier this month and
their last main political rally on Mahe held at the Music Stadium on
Sunday November 24.
DP's 30-minute
feature will cover their programme and closing get-together.
SPPF's feature will
cover their rallies, the last of which will be held on Saturday November
30.
The closing
addresses from all the political parties fielding candidates will be
transmitted from 9.05 p.m. on Saturday November 30 on both Radio and TV.
The final broadcasts will be in the order already determined by a draw.
Accordingly SNP's broadcast will come first and be followed by that of
the SPPF, the DP and the Seychelles Democratic Alliance (SDA).
For the closing addresses, each party will be
allowed ten minutes.
