More than 150 pensioners, including disabled persons, are being given the opportunity to have their photos taken at their home and be issued with the new ID cards.

According to the Ministry of Information, Technology and Communication (MITC) this service, which started this week, is specifically for those persons who are unable to leave their residence and who have already given their names to receive this service.

The ID card Office will contact those persons by telephone district by district during the

course of the process.

Those who did not have a telephone number before can now inform the ID card Office of their new number.
