Seven Seychellois candidates are currently in India
attending various courses under the Indian Technical and Economic
Cooperation (ITEC) programme.
They all received their air tickets earlier this
month from the Indian High Commissioner, H. E. Mr Malay Mishra, during a
simple ceremony at the High Commission at Le Chantier.
Helena De Letourdis,
principal statistician from the Management and Information Systems
Division (MISD) is attending the Mastering Enterprise Network course
conducted by Tata Infotech in New Delhi. The course ends on December 19.
The systems support
manager in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Terence Malbrook, is
attending the same course.
Office Technologies and
Internet Applications is the name of the course which Mona Marie,
assessing officer of the Taxation Division in the office of the
Commissioner of Taxes is attending at the same institute. The course
ends on December 19.
Randy Barra, assistant
audit technician at the Internal Audit Division of the Ministry of
Finance is at the Computer Maintenance Company (CMC) Limited in New
Delhi attending a six week course in Essential Computer Skills for the
E-World. This course too will end on December 19.
Medze Thomas, assistant
loans officer at Seychelles Savings Bank, has gone to Pune to attend a
course in Banking and Finance-Risk Management. The course, ending on
December 13, is being conducted by National Institute of Bank Management
.
Priscilla Freminot,
assistant audit technician in the Internal Audit Division of the
Ministry of Finance is attending a course in Auditing Information
Technology being conducted by the Comptroller and Auditor General of
India at their International Centre for Information and System Audit,
located at Noida. The course ends on December 12.
Marie-Vonne Zarine, assistant accountant at the
Seychelles Marketing Board (SMB) has gone to New Delhi to attend a
course in Public Expenditure Management being conducted by the Institute
of Government Accounts and Finance. The course ends on November 17. |
