After 10 years and two days, reggae group Culture made a
triumphant return to Seychelles on Wednesday night (December 3), at the
International Conference Centre.
With anxious fans screaming out for “Reggae time” before the show, the
group delivered with a set that lasted well over two hours, covering
tracks dating from their first record, Two Sevens Clash, to the
group’s most recent album, World Peace.
Lead singer Joseph Hill was a vibrant personality with the microphone in
his hand, prompting reggae lovers draped in red, gold and green flags to
filter down near the stage to dance with their fellow fans.
The concert was sponsored by the Guinness brand from Seychelles
Breweries.
A
second show will be held on Saturday December 6, at Stad Lanmizik
starting at 8:30 p.m. |
