Delmas Seychelles berthed at the port on Tuesday

Delmas has confirmed its commitment in servicing Seychelles and the Indian Ocean Region with the introduction of a fourth line under the name of DIORS (Delmas Indian Ocean Rim Service). 

The Delmas Seychelles will be one of three vessels allocated to the DIORS line.  This service will provide the capacity to make a call every 12 days.  Delmas Seychelles  made its first call at the Victoria Port on Tuesday January 13.

The DIORS line offers a direct container service into Seychelles linking Karachi, Mumbai, Port Louis, Antsiranana, Nosy-Be, Mahajanga, Longoni, Nacala,  Dar Es Salaam, Mombasa and return to Karachi.

The DIORS line will join the other Delmas services namely Delmas Midas Line from South Africa, Delmas Indian Ocean line from Europe and Delmas Asea from the far East and East Africa.

This will provide Seychelles with an excellent network of shipping services by the Delmas group with one vessel calling into Port Victoria almost every three days.
