Sixty representatives of different trades on Friday October 17, attended a series of presentations at the Seychelles Institute of Management (SIM) which were organised as part of activities to mark the institution's silver jubilee.

The first session on public service development was delivered by Mrs Daniella Larue while Mrs Marina Confait, also of the Ministry of Administration and Manpower (MAM), spoke on human resource development.

Mr George Ah Thew of the Ministry of Information, Technology and Technology made a presentation on electronic commerce.

According to Miss Marie-France Mein, who is MAM's public relations officer, the anniversary in fact fell on Friday, although celebrations began on Thursday October 16.

Among those who attended the seminar were Minister Noellie Alexander and principal secretary Mohamed Afif of MAM.
