Airtel's lucky winners: Mr Belle, Ms Cesar and Ms Youngman

Three subscribers – Phillipe Belle, Gilberte Youngman and Gerda Cesar – who won Airtel's festive season promotions in December last year, said they are pleased for having had the opportunity to visit Rome.

Both Mr Philippe Belle and Ms Gilberte Youngman won the Magic Prepaid promotion for a trip to Rome, while post-paid subscriber Gerda Cesar of Mont Fleuri was the lucky winner of "Connect to Airtel" special offer.

Mr Belle, who lives at Anse Louis, has been on Magic Prepaid for over the past four years whereas Bougainville resident Ms Youngman has been using Magic for three years. The three winners went to Rome on December 25 and returned on January 6.

While expressing their satisfaction at being given the chance to visit Rome, the winners feel that such promotions should be offered more often so that other subscribers could benefit.

Besides certain difficulties they experienced in seeking accommodation, the winners said this first visit to Rome was worthwhile, especially for Ms Youngman who got the chance to visit Vatican.

After so many years being with Magic Prepaid, Mr Belle who works in the government, said he also found Airtel's new post-paid promotion quite interesting.
