The Seychelles
National Party (SNP), which won seven seats in last weekend's National
Assembly election, has named its proportionally elected members.
They are Hardy
Lucas, its candidate for Anse Royale; Ebrona Brioche (Anse Etoile);
David Pierre (Port Glaud) and Francis Cupidon (Grand Anse Praslin).
Each party gets a
proportionally elected member for each ten per cent of votes won.
The SNP scored
42.6% of votes in the election..
Having won the
majority of seats in the assembly with a score of 54.3%, the Seychelles
People's Progressive Front (SPPF) is entitled to five proportionally
elected members. The party is however yet to announce its proportionally
elected members.
