Founded by three young Seychellois information technology (IT) professionals, computer consulting firm Reliant Unified Solutions Pty Ltd (RUS) is offering information technology solutions for local businesses.

RUS' headquarters is at Pointe Conan and the company is run by Terrence Joubert, who is experienced in software engineering and publishing, Ronny Adonis, a seasoned marketing analyst, software engineer and website developer, and Davies Robert, a professional consultant and project developer in business software applications, especially accounting solutions.

All three have previously held important positions in IT companies and in the public sector. They have been involved in software development, internet marketing, business solutions implementation, multi-media design and IT training projects.

RUS offers a variety of services, including web design, hardware sales and services, IT-related consultancy, training and software development. Its services are geared towards both the private and public sectors.

Following the launching of the company in May this year, the trio set out to establish strategic links between RUS and other foreign entities. The company now offers several solutions developed by its strategic partners. These partners include Enterprocity Inc., Peachtree Corporation, Micron Computers LLC and GTV Solutions Inc.

In regards to web design, RUS has the capability to provide a broad spectrum of web site products ranging from simple and inexpensive home pages to highly complex and detailed multi-linked web sites containing texts, digital photography, credit card processing, graphics, dynamic interactive features and interlinks to other pages or web sites.

For professional firms, this can include practice overviews, mission statements, professional resumes, service descriptions, facilities and newsletters. RUS can provide to manufacturers, distributors or retailers sites with product lists, photographs, price lists, on-line encrypted credit card ordering and customer order processing.

Another notable web service from RUS is web hosting.

In addition to its web services, RUS implements software applications from its partners, for example the Peachtree Accounting Systems developed by Peachtree Corporation.

According to Mr Robert, "deploying a computerised accounting system in even a small organisation is not as exorbitant and demanding as one might think. With proper guidance, training and post-implementation support from RUS, our customers take control of their finances with this easy-to-use accounting software solution."

He added that if a business required multi-currency accounting, RUS can offer other inexpensive packages available, such as the QuickBooks Premier.

"These solutions allow businesses to take control of their finances, get an insight from the numbers in real time and make sensible business decisions," Mr Robert explained.

Since its creation, RUS has successfully introduced accounting solutions to many organisations in Seychelles. These include small business operations, non-profit making organisations and other private companies.

The company is currently working on RUS AssetExplorer® which is an asset management system.
