The participants on Saturday before their departure for Silhouette

Eighteen 2003 Positive Youth Image Award winners are taking part in an exchange programme on Silhouette with 12 youths from the island.

Speaking prior to the group's departure for Silhouette on Saturday December 13, Ms Colleen Esparon of the National Youth Council said that the 30 participants would camp together and take part in educational, cultural and sports activities over a period of one week.

She said NYC organised the event to accord the youths a chance to exchange ideas, and that they were appointed by their respective schools.

Other contributors to the award winners' camp are Seychelles Youth Action group and Seychelles People's Defence Forces whose coastguard vessel transported the 18 along with their animateurs to Silhouette.
