Barclays Bank (Seychelles) has announced that John
Esther will be joining its company as senior corporate manager as from
December 1, of this year.
Mr Esther is to join the bank from the Seychelles
International Business Authority (SIBA) where he had held the post of
Business Development Director for the last 7 years.
In that capacity, Mr Esther played a pivotal co-ordinating
role in the establishment and the development of the offshore industry
in Seychelles, a job that brought him into regular contact with leading
offshore practitioners and corporate customers.
According to a press release from Barclays Bank, Mr
Esther's move "demonstrates our ongoing plans to recruit suitably
qualified Seychellois to enhance our business in order to create a high
performance organisation for the benefit of our customers and
stakeholders alike. His experience in the offshore sector will add
positively to our drive to develop the offshore business here in
Seychelles."
Commenting on the move, Mr Esther said he was

renown organisation like Barclays and to realise a long held ambition in
having a productive career in the private sector. I am excited about the
prospects of taking up the challenges of this new job and I am sure that
