French travel company Austral Lagons has offered
it's agents the chance to win a Seychelles holiday, in a move to
increase French travel to the islands.
Teaming up with Le Meridien, Air Seychelles, the
Seychelles Tourism Marketing Authority and Lémuria Resort, Austral
Lagons put together a 12 day holiday to Seychelles, on offer to it's
best performing sales staff.
Staff were awarded points for each part of a trip
to Seychelles, such as flights or accommodation, which they sold between
the start of November to the end of December 2003.
The three agents who succeeded in accumulating the
most points by the end of the two months were duly rewarded with their
very own Seychelles get away.
The winning staff will be in Seychelles this March.
While Austral Lagons were unwilling to release
exact figures, STMA have said the French operators have reported an
increase in bookings, and the company was able to confirm that, thanks
to its success, the competition will be run again later in the year.
