The leader and management committee of the Democratic Party have sent a message of best wishes to all teachers and educators on the occasion of Teachers' Day, to be celebrated on Sunday October 5.

"You are the sculptor, the men and women who are working so hard to mould the generation and leaders of tomorrow," says the message.

"We are mindful of the monumental and challenging task that you have to face. In spite of the many difficulties do not quit in the spirit of Seychelles First," the message says.

"The teaching profession is a noble one and the leaders of tomorrow are depending on you. Your commitment, decision and leadership is crucial to ensure that the threshold of victory is crossed," the message adds.
