New British
High Commissioner announced
The new British High Commissioner to Seychelles
is due to arrive by the end of July, it was announced this week by the
High Commission.
A press release from the High Commission states
that Ms Diana Skingle, who until recently served as the Deputy British
Ambassador to Ethiopia, is due in Seychelles by the end of next month
to take over as High Commissioner.
She will be replacing His Excellency Fraser
Wilson, who left recently for the UK.
Since H.E. Mr Wilson's departure the position of
Acting High Commissioner has been filled by Ms Jacqui Currie, who will
leave Seychelles on the arrival of Ms Skingle, at the end of her tour
of duty.
Ms Skingle, who is described as very much looking
forward to her assignment in Seychelles, will be accompanied by her
partner Christopher Carrington. |
