Hills Balfour, who has been fully managing all
elements of the tourist board’s activity for the U.K. market since the
Seychelles Tourist Office (STO) team was restructured in November 2002,
has this month moved to new offices in the heart of London’s business
district.
Situated directly behind Tate Modern and the Globe
Theatre, the offices are five minutes from the Thames River and just
across the new Millennium Bridge from St Paul’s Cathedral.
Located in the up and coming South Bank region and
served by London Bridge’s unparalleled train and tube network, this
will ensure that the STO team now have immediate access to the
increasingly complex travel and media market.
The area is ideal for entertaining and attracting
trade visitors and is located within a distinctly business environment,
attracting leading media, particularly television, design and marketing
organisations. The offices themselves are well presented in a converted
warehouse with exposed brick walls and steel throughout and guests are
greeted by a receptionist before being directed to either the
Seychelles’ offices located on the dedicated Hills Balfour floor or
the series of meeting rooms.
Explaining
the new move, Amanda Hills-Balfour, director of the Seychelles Account
and managing director of Hills Balfour, explained: “The move marks the
final step in U.K.'s Seychelles Tourist Office restructuring process to
ensure that the needs of an ever-changing market place are accommodated.
Our expanded and fully dedicated team will benefit immeasurably from our
prime central location and from the modern new facilities which our
offices now boast.”
