Whether you're

pleasure, a newly released compilation of all time Creole hits entitled
Festival Kreol should fit the bill perfectly.

Trading director Paul Pillay, who is also the mastermind behind the
photography work and cover design, this scintillating compilation on CD
is a sensuous concoction of spicy hot segas, soothing ballads, among
other genres.
Basically the
15-track release comprises already popular Creole tunes which have been
remixed. While a few have been re-sung by their original authors, the
majority have been re-interpreted by other artists.
The star-studded
line-up of artists featuring on this new release include Philip
Toussaint, Michele Marengo, Sheila Paul, Francois Havelock, Serge
Camille, Keven Rath, Jany De Letourdie, among others.
The album opens
with the explosive and enthralling sega beat of Rosana, a song
performed by Philip Toussaint and Michelle Marengo. Other popular
numbers appearing on the release are Patrick Victor's Si En Zour
(re-interpreted by Michelle Marengo), Francois Havelock's Mersi Pour
Zot Tou (performed by the author himself), Jones Camille's Lwen
ek Ou and David Scholastique's Si Demen Nou Separe
(re-interpreted by Sheila Paul), Serge Camille's Tou Konmsi Koumsa
(re-sung by Camille himself), among others. Also featuring on the
release is Keven Rath's Orevwar, a remix of the 1976 hit composed
on the occasion of Seychelles' accession to Independence.
Lending grace and
elegance to the front cover of the release is the captivating photograph
of Lise Athanase, a model from Telly's Modelling Agency.
The producer of
the release also has words of thanks to the national airline Air
Seychelles for sponsoring freight costs.
