Francis Port-Louis of Belonie is the lucky winner of Internet Provider Kokonet's special draw organised to mark its third anniversary in December.

Mr Port-Louis, who subscribed to Kokonet since its launching in 2000, went home with a flat screen Samsung LCD Superslim television.

Mr Port-Louis and second prize winner, Mrs Marie-Therese Hernandez of Benezet Street, received their prizes in a ceremony on Tuesday January 6 at the company's office at Pirates Arms.

Mrs Hernandez has won a JVS DVD player. 

The respective third, fourth and fifth winners of the draw are Messrs Anthony Juliette, Danny Joubert and Peter Payet.

They each won an electronic organiser but were, however, not present to collect their prizes.

The prizes were given out by Galen Bresson, Kokonet's sales and marketing manager.

Both first and second prize winners have expressed satisfaction with the service being offered by Kokonet.

Kokonet, they said, has an efficient support team with good technical knowledge and the company remains abreast with modern technology.

Kokonet has spent some R25,000 in the purchase of the electronic items which Mr Bresson said were give-away presents for its loyal subscribers. The winners' names were picked at random in a draw last week.
