New video centre opens at Anse Talbot

A brand new video centre, Le Dodo Video Club, has opened its doors at Anse Talbot, Cascade, since late December last year.

Le Dodo, owned by a Mauritian, is the first video centre to do business at Cascade in a long time. It is renting out DVDs and VCDs at R20 and cassettes at R15. The centre is bringing in good quality and original videos from countries like the USA, Australia and Singapore.

The proprietor of the video centre believes that Le Dodo will make good "à-la-Mauricienne-style" business in Cascade since it has no other competitors in the area.

The centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m to 7:30 p.m. It  also opens on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Le Dodo says its clientele does not only come from the Cascade area, but from as far south as Anse Aux Pins and west as Port Glaud.
