The institute of beauty and complimentary therapies, Aromatherapy Centre has announced that as from June 1 clients wishing to burn fat and treat cellulites can do so using the Beauty Therm Body Styler.

The styler which is a body wrap, can do wonders to the body and is more suitable for people with weight problems, according to the management of the Mont Fleuri-based centre.  Besides burning fat and reducing cellulitis, the styler is also an effective massager that can help relieve muscle tensions and in general helps the body to detox.

It is however not recommended to be used on people in menstruation, with high blood pressure and heart problems, during pregnancy and shortly after delivery. The styler should also not be applied on people suffering from varicose veins and those with thyroid and kidney disorders.

Besides the styler, the Centre is also introducing a new range of hydrotherapy beauty products with the brand name Babor, to be used mostly in facial treatments in addition to its already popular Anesi skin products.

Invented in 1956 by a Dr Michael Babor, a scientist of German origin, the products are water based and made from the extracts of 400 natural materials. They have been clinically and dermatologically tested and contain no synthetic fragrances.

Among the treatments being offered at the Centre are Babor system gold facial for all skin types, Complex C treatment  which is a vitamin cocktail treatment for tired and stressed skin and the Q10 wrinkle killer for mature skin. The duration for all the treatments is one and a half hours at R350 each.

Aromatherapy Centre is informing clients that it is also providing eyebrow threading.

For the month of May, the Centre is launching a new promotion whereby clients buying two treatments will get one free.
