Seychelles' standing on the Swiss holiday market is set to be raised by the recent visit of two groups of representatives of the Kuoni travel company.

Kuoni, the largest travel company in Switzerland, and fast becoming one of the leading luxury travel agents in the world, sent two delegations to Seychelles who were looked after by Travel Services Seychelles during their stay.

Upon touching down in Seychelles the Kuoni representatives enjoyed a whirlwind tour of some of the finest hotels and resorts that the country has to offer.

Their busy schedule saw the travel company employees take in the sights of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue, as well as affording them the opportunity to explore some of the country's underwater treasures in the Ste Anne Marine Park.

The first group arrived on Saturday 31 May and left on Thursday 5 June, while the second group were in Seychelles from 1 June to 8 June.

During their visits both groups were hosted by a number of the best hotels in the country, all keen to gain a good reputation with a company that attracts some of Europe's highest paying customers.

Switzerland currently contributes several hundred tourists to Seychelles industry every week and local tourist businesses will doubtless be hoping that Kuoni's global reach will increase the number of visitors from both Switzerland and across the world.
