visual map of all room bookings.
Occupied rooms are marked in blue,
provisional bookings in red and
unoccupied rooms in green. Double
click a room / date combination and
if occupied it will show details of
the guest. If unoccupied will allow
you to extend the stay of the nearest
booking. If provisional it will allow
you to confirm the booking.
A
visual indicator is by far the
easiest way of assimilating all
the relevant information. It
allows slow periods, unpopular
rooms and unattractive
combinations to be targetted for
action. It also allows you to
squeeze the maximum occupancy out
of your hotel by juggling rooms
amoung guests.
