Coming events

The division is currently working on or organising events for the young people and for its staff members. These are as follows;

•  The Youth Division Action Plan
The Programme Officers are working on the Action Plan for the Youth Division that will outline the broad course of action to be taken by the Division in achieving it objectives also outlined in the Action Plan.

•  Training of young Entrepreneurs
Some 40 youths from all walks of life are undertaking a training given by Mrs Joyce Zialor on basic techniques in entrepreneurial skills. This will benefit them in future entrepreneurial projects..

•  Community Animateur Training Programme.

The Training section of the Youth Division is currently finalising a
training programme for it’s community animateurs, (youths that will assist
the districts youth workers) to better understand youth work in the
community and to efficient in the their responsibilities.


There are also ongoing activities at the Youth Centre that take place
after hours such as the chess club, Positive Thinking classes and the
services of the Youth Health Centre.
