Proposed Dehydration of Marine Products in Seychelles

The promoters of this venture, a first for the Seychelles, wanted to lay the foundations of a sustainable industry. Despite a large EEZ, marine resources of the Seychelles could be rapidly over-exploited by industries geared to export markets. The report investigate the possibility of using trash fish as well as under-exploited resources that could be dehydrated for export. Traditional resources were also examined for their potential and sustainability.
