MAID SERVICE
The chambermaid comes to clean the rooms in the morning after breakfast. She cleans the house and changes towels and bed sheets when necessary. Bed sheets are changed every three days or when necessary. Towels can be changed daily.
Your personal clothes may be washed and ironed by the maid at a small cost.
We have electrical adapter at your disposal for a deposit of 25 rupees.

FOOD STORES
Being a self-catering establishment, food can be bought at the local stores situated at Anse a La Mouche. In Santa Maria Estate there is Albert Store for drinks and further on two more shops as well as a fish market. For fruits and vegetables it is best to go to Victoria Market in the morning any day except Sunday.

RESTAURANTS
Here is a list of restaurants where you will enjoy the local cooking.
On the main road turn right 100 meters you will see the ANCHOR CAFE. It is opened until 10 o'clock at night except on Sundays when it closes at 7 p.m.
Further down there is Le CAPITAINE ROUGE or OSCAR. This is more sophisticated cooking, opened for lunch and dinner.
On the left from La Residence there is the LA SIRENE for creole cooking and it is opened for lunch only until 5 p.m.
At Anse Takamaka there is the popular beach restaurant of CHEZ BATISTAS for lunch and dinner.

GOOD BEACHES ON THE SOUTH COAST
Takamaka Beach, Anse Soleil for snorkeling off the beach.
Anse Royale for good swimming and snorkeling.
The famous Intendance beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and for picnics.

SOME ADVICE FOR YOUR SAFETY
We strongly advise you to keep your chalets and rooms locked when you are away and at night. If you have any valuables, kindly ask the manager to keep them for safekeeping.
When you walk in the sea wear shoes so as to protect yourself from being stung and cut by sea shells.
